Supporter-run | practical | visible

Built to be seen, not just talked about.

PNE Flags is a supporter-led project building atmosphere, tribute work and visible colour at Deepdale. It runs through PNE Online, sits naturally alongside the wider Gentry story and exists for people who want the ground to look and feel stronger.

Manifesto

Atmosphere through unity.

The point is not one aesthetic for one day. It is to build a stronger visual identity at Deepdale through flags, banners, wavers, tifos, tribute pieces and matchday setup that supporters can actually see and feel.

Gentry work is one strand of it. General flag provision, supporter displays and long-term visual stock are the wider job. The best work survives the day itself and becomes part of how the ground is remembered.

Independent

Run through PNE Online rather than as a club department, with supporter backing at the centre.

Practical

Storage, repairs, deployment and steward-aware setup matter just as much as design.

Visible

The goal is simple: turn support into something the whole ground can see.

Why it belongs here

Supporter culture matters.

PNE Flags sits inside a broader Preston North End supporter tradition. It is not just about fabric in a stand. It is about giving shape, colour and visible identity to the support in a way that people remember.

That is why the archive matters. That is why tribute work matters. That is why the relationship with Gentry Day and the wider supporter conversation still matters too.
