Practical help

Help get the work into place.

Displays do not appear by themselves. Volunteers help prep, install, tidy, store and keep the project moving from one matchday to the next. When people cannot give time, monthly supporters help fund the practical side instead.

Before gates

Unload the right stock, check what is needed and move the right pieces to the right part of the ground.

Install

Place flags, banners or rails correctly, taking account of sightlines, safety and steward guidance.

During the day

Keep an eye on the setup, deal with issues and make sure what supporters funded still looks right in use.

After the game

Clear, dry, fold and store the stock so it is ready to go again instead of being lost or damaged.

Who it suits

Supporters who want to help practically, not just financially. You do not need to do every game to matter.

What reliability means

Some jobs are visible, some are simple setup or packing tasks. Reliability matters more than turning it into a big production.

What more hands change

Cleaner installs, fewer rushed jobs, better storage and more confidence to try work that takes extra preparation.

Two real ways to help

Time and money do different jobs. The project needs both.

Where time is limited, monthly supporters still matter because they keep stock, storage and practical upkeep covered between the larger campaigns.
